2011 Kids Camps - Day Camp to let your child Shine!

Shine is pleased to announce a collaboration with two of our favorite local organizations to offer a full-day summer camp opportunity for school-age children.

We will be offering four one-week sessions.

June 13 - June 17 at the Louisville Nature Center

June 20 - June 24 at the Earth & Spirit Center

June 27 - July 1 at the Earth & Spirit Center

July 18 - July 22 at the Louisville Nature Center

Morning will be programming by the Earth & Spirit Center & the Louisville Nature Center. Afternoon will be programming by Shine. See below for details.

SUMMER CAMP ODYSSEY FOR KIDS - ages 6-12

(children who have completed kindergarten to 6th grade)

June 20 - June 24
June 27 - July 1

9am-4pm** (full-day camp)

$180.00 per child. (or half-day am or pm $90)

Camp Odyssey is an experiential program of fun and learning designed to help children connect with the Earth. It is designed to awaken a sense of awe and wonder in children. Campers will experience an interactive educational camp to experience the beauty of nature, the joy of gardening, the basics of nutrition, food preparation, science, nature, hiking, music & movement, yoga and the arts on 20 acres of the Earth & Spirit Center.

WILD ABOUT THE ARTS - ages 6-12

$200 / $160 LNC members

Let the wilderness found at the Louisville Nature Center inspire you at this exciting arts and nature camp!

In the morning, we will work with paint, clay, printmaking and other fun materials, and spend time in the preserve and bird blind.

Pack a lunch and get ready for the afternoon! Shine Studio personnel will be on site for music, movement, yoga, drumming, and hooping -- indoors and out!
